  1. Wash rice and dals and soak together water for 15-20min.
  2. Heat ghee in the presser cooker and adds mustard seeds and cumin seeds when they splutter add whole dry spices saute add chopped onions saute till light brown in colour add drained rice and dal from water.
  3. Add all dry spices and powder saute well add water depending on the content of the liquor mix all well together and make 3 whistles. when it is released open the lid and mix again.
  4. Sprinkle some green coriander leaves chopped. Serve hot with papad pickle or salad and yogurt.
