  17. 1/4 tsp Baking soda (for one plate/ thali)
  18. leaves Few coriander
  19. 2-3 tsp Groundnut oil
  20. Water as required
  21. For steaming
  22. Deep vessel with lid
  23. Plate
  24. Oil for greasing
  25. rack Ring/
  26. 2 glass water

Instructions to make to make Spicy Dhokla From Idlli Batter

  1. Take a mixing Bowl. Add idli batter, salt, crush ginger garlic green chillies with Chilli cutter. Add handful coriander leaves.
  2. Mix it all well. Add sugar and 1/2 cup water and mix it well in pouring consistency.
  3. Keep steaming vessel on medium flame. Grease the plate.
  4. Take some batter in another bowl add baking soda 1 tsp water. Whisk it till it get pluffy.
  5. Pour the pluffy batter in greased plate/ thali. Sprinkle red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, cumin seeds
  6. Sprinkle coriander leaves. Put the plate in pre heated steamer. Close the lid put the flame Medium -high flame.
  7. Steam it for 15 min. Off the gas and let it get cool.
  8. Take it out from the vessel and put cut by knife. Sprinkle ground nut oil on whole Dhokla.
