Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Dahi Barray/Bhallay๐๐:
- Tamarind and date chutney
- For barra/Bhalla
- 1-1/2 cup White Lentils(soaked)
- 1 Cup Split Yellow lentils (soaked)
- 2-3 tbs water (for blending)
- 1 pinch baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- as needed Tamarind & date chutney
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 3-4 green chillies chopped
- Oil for frying
- For yoghurt
- 1 kg yoghurt
- 1 tbs cornflour
- to taste salt
- 2-3 tbs sugar
- as needed milk
- Ingredients for Dahi Baray
- Prepared Bhally
- Prepared Yogurt
- as needed Black salt
- as needed Roasted cumin
- as needed onion rings
- as needed Red chilli powder
- as needed Chaat masala
- as needed Green chutney
- as needed Dry pomegranate
Instructions to make to make Dahi Barray/Bhallay๐๐
- For Barray/Bhallay
In a blender blend yellow lentils white lentils and green chilliee by adding water then let it out in a bowl - Now add, salt, ginger garlic paste baking soda and keep mixing in one direction with hand until the mixture blends well
- Now leave it for 15-20 minutes
Now fry the Bhalla in medium heat cooking oil and then let it cool

- Now soak these fried Bhalla in the salted water for 10-12 minutes
After that, press the Bhalla for drain water - For Yogurt
In a bowl, add yogurt, salt, corn flour, sugar, milk and blend it well. - For Dahi Baray Preparation:
First of all, put Bhallas in a dish/platter and add some prepared yogurt on it and use onion rings, dry pomegranate black salt, roasted cumin, red chili powder, chaat masala, green chutney, tamarind date sauce to taste.
